Irma passed away in 2012 at the age of 95. A friend and supporter of the Peabody Museum in New Mexico, she had employed Joseph Quintana at her shop in the 1960's - Early 70's. Part of her collection is shown the book she wrote, Joe H. Comes with statement of provenance connecting the estate of Irma Bailey.

Stone Mounted on a Lightly Convex, Sterling Silver Stamped Plaque with a Scalloped Border. Small silver tag attached on leather lace, inscribed JHQ 3 (unsigned Ketoh, tag added). Silver Work is Second to None. Sterling mount measures over 4 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide.Turquoise Stone measures 3 inches by over 2 inches wide. Leather measures 9 x 4 inches. Total Weight 193.6 grams. In Excellent - Very Good Vintage Condition with Some Wear to the Leather. This piece was taken care of, the leather is not dried out and is still somewhat subtle.
